Psych Hike with San Diego CAMFT

In December I joined the monthly group hike led by Tamalina Cummings, SD-CAMFT Treasurer. Our group climbed to the peak of Cawle’s Mountain. These hikes are a fun way to meet colleagues and Tamalina plans them at beautiful locations all over San Diego County.

Redwood Empire CAMFT and Redwood Psychological Association

In 2024, RECAMFT and RPA walked together in the Sonoma Pride parade for the first time. Our group dragged a wagon with a boombox playing LGBTQ+ anthems, handed out candy and info cards, and let people know how to find local LGBTQ+ and Gender Affirming Therapists.

Annual Members Meeting

At this year’s Annual Member’s Meeting we honored all the wonderful volunteers who helped build RECAMFT’s programs and events. Volunteerism is at the heart of every chapter and this group photo represents thousands of hours of giving from the heart to support a mission that matters. Thank you volunteers!

Chapter Leadership Conference

CAMFT Event

I had an amazing time at the Chapter Leadership Conference held in San Diego, CA. This conference brings together board members from every chapter for a weekend of inspiration, sharing ideas, and meaningful conversations. I felt inspired by the creative ways that chapter leaders are meeting the needs of their communities and how quick everyone was to problem-solve to bolster the success of every single chapter.

I also enjoyed getting to know my Redwood Empire and San Diego North County board fellows even better! Sharing laughs, stories, and business wisdom over some amazing meals.

Meeting the other candidates for Director-At-Large was a real treat. Each of them is kind and dedicated. CAMFT is lucky to have such an amazing slate of folks ready to do the job of guiding this organization!

I encourage you to read everyone’s statements at https://www.camft.org/election to learn more about your awesome choices!
